SPLITWORM

Battle - Bump into this monster in the Alternate Shopping Mall

Attack - If you dont get out of its way it will run into you and run you over or if you are really unlucky will open its great jaws and you are done for.

Shoot At - Wait until its gaping mouth opens then pop shots into it

Tactics - You are stuck in the middle of it here, in front of you and behind you there are three large holes on each side and a wall on each side of you. You have to dodge the worm a couple of times as he slides in and out of one hole to the next. Every so often he will stop to open his mouth, so take advantage of this vulnerable moment and shoot it about 10 times with the handgun to kill it.

MISSIONARY

Battle - Daisy Villa Apartments Roof

Attack - Missionary runs around in circles- once it stops it will run toward you and cuts you with those long blades he has for arms.

Shoot At: It's back or sides- dont shoot from the front.

Tactics -Shooting at it from the front hardly works because it'll just block the shots with it's blade arms - he almost always does this, so don't waste your ammo.

It's easier to run yourself, try and get to it's side and shoot it down. It's best to try and take sharp turns or run in wide circles while it charges at you. While doing this the weapon of choice in the battle should be the shotgun. Close range and heavy fire mean it's good enough as it is, but the added fact it'll also knock the Missionary over helps a lot. Once it's down, take advantage of this moment while it is prone to attacks. Stand far away though, because it swings it's arms in a wide circle around itself afterwards, and you need to be out of range for that attack. Also, be sure keep track of your ammo, because Heather always seems to reload at the wrong time. Eventually Missionary will die- keep at it!!

LEONARD

Battle- In the Sewer

Attack - Leonard will submerge himself and swim under the water to surprise you when he resurfaces and attacks with his sweeping arms'

Shoot At: Any part of him you see above the water.

Tactics -  A large monster that has flesh melting off its body as you attack it. He will submerge himself and swim under the water. You will be unable to target him until he resurfaces, but you will see flashes of his body illuminated in the murky water. You need to keep moving and avoid where he resurfaces to stop from being attacked. If you can't see him when he pops out of the water, just listen for him. Use the shotgun from a safe distance to attack him. Watch his main attack in which sweeps his arms around. (either side of him as that's generally is reaching range) He will continue this same pattern for the rest of the battle.

MEMORY OF ALESSA

The final Boss in SH3 but one which takes a bit more beating than most Bosses in the series so far.

Battle -  LakeSide Amusement Park Carousel

Attack - Alessa does move but her arms have a very long reach! She uses various weapons to try and dispose of Heather but by being quick and studying Alessa'a attack moves,you can triumph! 

TACTICS -

Phase One - Alessa is armed with the knife, which she can only hurt you when she is in very close range. With weapons you can't stand still, and shoot head on as Alessa will block your shots. Use the handgun. Once you kill this phase she will disinegrate into a bloody mist.

Phase Two - Alessa is armed with the handgun, which now means she can hurt you from a distance. Try and use a melee weapon and get close to Alessa and slowly back away from her while ready to attack and when shes tries to pistol whip you, unleash your melee weapon (Eg katana). Once you kill this phase she will disinegrate into a bloody mist again.

Phase Three - Aleesa is now armed with the steel pipe, which means she needs to be fairly close to attack you. Use the handgun, only because the steel pipe has a longer reach than the knife did. With weapons you can't stand still, and shoot head on as Alessa will block your shots. So be sure to move around and catch her off gaurd (like when Alessa is about to attack). Once you kill this phase she will disinegrate into a bloody mist again.

Final Phase - Aleesa is now armed with the deadly sub-machine gun, which means she does not need to be close to you to attack. For this fight you can either use the handgun/shotgun or melee weapons. The handgun/shotgun will work, but be sure to use the horses as a shield and then come out only when Alessa is done shooting. When using a melee weapon (eg. Katana) get close enough to Alessa and she will try to whip you with her sub-machine gun, very much like the handgun. However, there is a chance she will open fire at close range, or run away and then open fire, leaving you very open to attacks. Once you kill her, the battle is over.

THE GOD

Battle - Bottom of the Hole in the Church Floor

Attack - The God uses its long arms to swipe at you,its head to headbutt you and uses a chain of fire to run after you and burn you to a crisp!

Tactics - See that semi circle line drawn on the floor? Stand behind it before you begin.

Use the handgun and shoot at the standing god a few times until you knock it over. Once it's down on the ground, grab a stronger weapon and unload as best you can. This can either be a weapon like the shotgun or machine gun or a melee weapon.

The God has various attacks to watch out for. It can swipe with either arm or if you are in front of it's head, it will headbutt you. If you shoot at it from out of it's reach then it'll start a chain of fire after you. This can be easy to avoid as long as you run in a wide circle around it. Don't stand still at all while it's around because even if you're not in the semi-circle it originally follows, it'll move out of that pattern and make a line where you are standing. Repeat the tactics above and the God will be dead in no time!
