Douglas is a Private Detective originally hired by Claudia Woolf to track down Heather.Upon finding Heather, Douglas is drawn into the nightmare world.

He bears the impression of a kind,responsible and calm character,yet paradoxically he dashes into danger to help others without thinking. He teams up with Heather once he learns of Claudias true motives and journeys with the young girl to Silent Hill in search of the answers.
