Secrets
Bookstore Puzzle

Location: Shopping Mall, 2nd Floor Bookshop

Solution Easy: Only 2 books are on the floor.Simply insert the 2 books where they belong in numerical order. The pass code becomes visible on the spines. The number changes each time the game is played.

Solution Normal: As suggested by the note on the back door, the books need to be arranged in the WRONG order.Look for the codes on the spines.Arrange them on shelf so that there are no wide gaps between 2nd and 3rd numbers as per the above example. The code changes each time you play the game.

Solution Hard: You need to know your Shakespeare! Examine each book and Heather will describe each play contained inthe relevant volume. Read the poem by the exit door. The poem written on the memo tells you how to arrange the books. They should go as follows: Anthology 4;Anthology 1;Anthology 5 and Anthology 3. However, the poem describes cahnegs to the numbers. The first indicates that the Anthology containing Hamlet needs to be doubled (4 becomes 8).Multiply Anthology with Romeo & juliet by 3 (1 becomes 3).The Anthology with MacBeth disappears so remove the last 3. The pass code is 835z.

Hospital Corridor Code

Location: Brookhaven Hospital, 2nd Floor.Across from the locked staircase examine the post next to the door for the riddle.

Solution Easy: The first clue is that after pushing the first button, you can move 2 to the right. Therefore, the first button to push is in the line on the left. The finger moves to the right, then up in the next two steps,so it cannot be on the top row. Therefore, the first key to press is 4.Follow the instructions on finger movement to get 4639.

Solution Normal: This is more difficult than the hard mode if you are not of a mathematic bent! The code is 8634 determined by creating number sets then systematically disqualifying each set.

Solution Hard: Think of the keypad as a face. You are facing them so your right is their left.If the bottom row is the mouth then the cheeks are the 2nd row and the eyes the top.Read the ridle to see how some numbers will move around the keypad/face until you arrive at 4896

Alarm Clock

Location; Brookhaven Hospital , 2nd Floor Room M4. The 4 digit code will open the nearby briefcase whose contents you need.

Solution Easy: The clock is a digital clock displaying the exact 4 digits to use.Start at the top of the lock.

Solution Normal: This clock has hands.Read the time and enter the combination as in Easy

Solution Hard: Read the time in the 24 hour clock mode.

Mortuary Crematorium

Location: Alternate Brookhaven Hospital, Basement

Solution Easy: The oven door is always open so just take the Cremated Key and leave.

Solution Normal: Examine the oven door and note the scratches. The lines correspond to the placement of the gurneys in the room.Roman numerals are etched into the randomly chosen squares corresponding to the gurneys covered with sheets. As in the picture, the Roman Numeral I corresponds to gurney number 6 and so on til you get the code 6087.

Solution Hard: Read the poem on the door. The first 4 verses correspond to  4 different gurneys. Examing each of the 10 gurneys in the room you will find a poem about a bird attached to each. The birds are based on the rhyme "Who Killed Cock Robin?"Compare the poem on the gurney to the poem on th eoven door to determine which verse corresponds to which numbered gurney. After you have decuced which bird is what you should end up with the code 9271.

Child's Bedroom

Location: The Church, lower level. Once you have all the Tarot cards you need to insert them in the correct way on the south door.

Solution Easy: Read the sketchbook on the bed to view a diagram of how to place the Tarot cards on the door.

Solution Normal: The rhyme on the sketchbook tells you where to place the cards. The Hanged Man goes in the centre slot onthe bottom row;the Eye Of Night card in the upper left;the High Priestess card directly below it;the Moon card above the Fool in the right hand slots.

Solution Hard:On the diargram discard anything that is not a Roman numeral. Then remove any number in the remaining number sequences that are not proper Roman Numeral formayts (eg INGOEI becomes IOI and as this is not a Roman Number remove the O to get II. Inspect the cards to see the Roman Numbers and II corrsponds to the High Priestess-therefore this goes in the upper left slot. And so on.
